Degree in Law, Universidad Autónoma de Centro América, 1983. MA in Political Science, Universidad de Costa Rica UCR. Served as the Vice-MinIster of Justice and Grace, 1990-1994. Practiced law in a variety of firms, 1994-1998. Following which served as Costa Rica’s Minister of Justice, 1998-2002. Returned to practice law for a number of years, following which launched a career in corporate government affairs, first with Alterra Partners, then BAC Credomatic, and most recently with Grupo Montecristo Costa Rica.
