Bachelor of Arts in social and economic sciences at the Venna University of Economics. Also completed training as a psychoanalyst, and long standing board member of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Association, lecturer at the Vienna Psychoanalytic Academy and at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, and President of the Sigmund Freud Society. Member of the National Council of Austria.
